Ciprus Limited, LLC Announces the Commissioning of the Third Edition of  The North American Market For Commercial Flooring Maintenance

March 15, 2008 Ciprus Limited, LLC an Essex, Connecticut based market research and consulting firm, announces the commissioning of the third edition of its study of the multi-billion dollar Commercial Flooring Maintenance Market.

With the additional focus of green and sustainable products, the project, will document flooring maintenance practices and maintenance frequency in terms of hours and dollars of labor expended maintaining commercial flooring surfaces. The study will also summarize dollars, quantities and brands of maintenance supplies consumed by specific maintenance activities as well as the quantity, type and brands of equipment utilized. The research plan calls for completing 1,400 interviews with maintenance professionals among small, medium, large and very large companies in 7 establishment types including offices, retail stores, manufacturing, education, healthcare, hospitality and transportation related companies. Flooring maintenance activities will be documented for all major commercial flooring surfaces including resilient tile and sheet goods, carpet and carpet tile, concrete, stone, wood and ceramic tile. Laminate flooring will be added in the 3rd Edition.

The study will focus on 16 specific areas of maintenance including rest rooms, food service areas, corridors and hallways, public assembly, offices, guest and patient rooms, lobbies, recreation areas, selling floors, physical plant and back of house areas, classrooms, auto services areas, warehouse areas, vehicle parking areas, dorm rooms, manufacturing areas and more.
